This is one of those bands that I've heard songs from hear and there but never really checked them out that closely. I've of course heard "Take the Skinheads Bowling", as has anyone who has seen Bowling for Columbine, but had only heard other tracks in passing. This album combines all the aspects that I love about Sublime, The Specials, old Bob Marley, and The Dead Milkmen. It seems like every track brings either aspects from another genre or changes genres completely. Perhaps it's my days of skating to The Dead Milkmen, but I just get this vision in my head of riding on my big, fat old Roskopp Santa Cruz board while listening to this on a Discman.
Great album. This will become a regular and I will definitely be checking out their entire catalog.
